Moving into Monday.

What will you do today to set yourself up for tomorrow? What actions can you take right now to powerfully push yourself into the week ahead?

How often do you find yourself moving into your Monday morning feeling sluggish and unmotivated? Maybe you stayed up past 10pm over the weekend, binged on Netflix or had just one more glass of Rosé than you should have. You’re wrapping up your Sunday night and took zero time to prepare for what’s coming your way.

Listen up, my people. You do not have to wake up with a case of the Mondays every single week. You have a choice around how your week ends and how the new one begins. All it takes is intention, commitment and action. Here are some ideas to get things flowing: go grocery shopping and meal prep for the next few days, schedule a yoga class or sweat session for yourself tomorrow morning before you head into work, plan out your schedule for the week and put some self care on the to-do list, go to bed early and put down your phone while you’re at it. Nothing is too big. Nothing is too small. But you must start somewhere.

For me, next week is all about getting back to work on my physical strength. After my miscarriage I had weeks of unexpected health hiccups that put my workout game completely out of commission. It’s been well over a month since I’ve been cleared for anything high impact but I finally have the green light and am ready to get after it. Today calls for relaxation and rejuvenation. A yummy, homemade brunch with my little family and a Sunday filled with snuggles. Monday morning, we’re coming at you.
